How to improve your communication

Being an introvert is a mercy, but it becomes a nightmare when one needs to have good communication skills as a job description. I went through that nightmare when I was appointed as Coordinator in my company.

A clueless Journey:

I was clueless about how to fulfil my job responsibilities when I was the person who wasn’t talkative at all. On the job, I have to communicate with different departments and need to manage different emails and that was hectic. Somehow I could manage to communicate in person but through emails, I sound confusing. I didn’t even know what should be written and most of the time my mails mislead the employees.

Tips for Communication skill:

A friend of mine suggested, to search on the internet, the ways to enhance communication. Fortunately, I had email writing service by content majestic meanwhile. But to my surprise every article on the internet gave a different set of tips for communication skills. This frustrated me as I was backfired by those tips. 1. The first goal! Know your audience:

Yes, they set goals for me. My first goal was to “identify my targeted person” to whom I have to communicate! What post he has! How should I communicate with that person? They gave me these tools to communicate as in:

Why am I communicating?
What message do I have to give to another person?
What wordings should I need to choose?

This was easy, before writing down any email, I wrote answers to these questions and it was very relaxing as the whole message became clear to me.

2. Second Strategy; Listen to other perspectives too:

This helped me so much that I was awarded by my boss when I solved a heating issue between an employee and one of our customers. What I did was I just listen to both sides and then calmly handled what might have gone wrong. Surprisingly, my colleague and the customer calm down when they shared the issue with me and then I suggested both of them what they can do in their case.

3. Time has a cost too!

I used to take long hours of employees and customers. The Reason; I was unable to concise and shorten my sentence! Even in emails, I wrote long sentences that usually frustrated the reader. So they corrected me in that. They suggested me to write concisely and to the point with necessary protocols. This helped me!

Conclusion: I won over!

Yeah! I won over my communication problem and that is just because of Content Majestic. They are the best in their services and professionalism. These guys really work hard during my struggle of being a good communication expert and poured great advice to my communication skills.
